More WordPress gems

Note to self: clicking the “next blog” arrow is an excruciating way to find gems. Not only am I prejudiced by the latest post, the response time on click is unbearable, and I see many blogs in languages I can’t read. However, avoiding the “tags” page dealt me some surprises:

• John F.D. Taff bemoans proposed legislation that would outlaw shirtless men. But for reasons distinctly selfish.
• A diversity of faces appear and disappear in front of Jana; she sketches them in a round of “Hot Seat Quick Draw” on the BART.
• Shucky makes me hurl with his perfect, growing love.
• After six months of flipping off her raunchy ex-job, Peaches enters enemy territory.
• “S,” deprived of sleep, feels her memory and mind slipping.
• Jane, a spurned mother, feels an eerie calm, before the motherfuckers and their lawyer throw shit into the fan. (from 2005)
• How do you thank a gynecologist? Obvious: compare him to Mighty Mouse.
